In 1909, Daniel Speck and his five sons established Speck Pumpen, located in Roth, Germany. Speck Pumpen is an international firm that manufactures a wider variety of pumps, including liquid ring vacuum, heat transfer, centrifugal, boiler feed, submersible side channel pumps. They are also an OEM supplier.
We are proud to represent Speck Pumpen for sales, repairs and maintenance in Australia. They have a sterling reputation for manufacturing sector-specific, high-quality products.
Speck Pumpen manufactures many different types of liquid ring vacuum pumps. The two basic configurations are long coupled or base plate and close coupled. Speck Pumpen manufactures pumps of many different sizes from 0.12-2.2m³/hr to 45kw-1600m³/hr. Most pumps manufactured by Speck Pumpen are available in stainless steel, brass, cast iron or a combination of any of the three materials.
Two stage pumps create vacuum levels of 33 mbar and a few of the single stage pumps are capable of this level. Speck Pumpen pumps can pump liquids with temperatures up to 350 °C at 100m³/hr. The differential head capability can be as high as 100 metres.
Speck Pumpen pumps can be built conventionally with mechanical seals, or they can be built in sealless mag drive versions. Pumps in smaller sizes are usually peripheral vane pumps with low flow and high head capabilities. Higher volumes are usually serviced by conventional impeller pumps. Vertical spindle pumps are available for heat transfer.
Speck Pumpen side channel pumps have earned a reputation for quality and performance when used in high head and boiler feed applications. They are classified as horizontal multistage pumps. Speck Pumpen also produces the self priming ASK series, the non-self priming SK series and the ES series which is designed for use in boiler feed applications that have up to 400 metres of head capabilities. They can all be obtained with sealless mag drive or mechanical seal shaft sealing.
