Style 99
Aero Drum style 99 packing has a wide range of applications. This is due to its nature of construction and its material make up.
Aero Drum Style 99 has the following attributes
- It is a good selection for general applications such as water pumps, booster pumps, ash pumps, reciprocating pumps, sewage pumps etc.
- It has the ability to run dry without major detrimental effects on the packing.
- It is resistant to abrasion which makes it suitable for applications such as slurries, pulp and the like.
- It can withstand a relatively wide “PH” range which makes it suitable in sea water and other mildly acidic or alkaline conditions.
- Style 99 can also be used as a valve packing.
